Tomorrow will be the funeral service for Bro. Paul Vanheynegen at 1 pm. We hope that you can join us in person for his Celebration of Life at the address listed below. The service will be presided over by Rev. Demetrius Jifunza with readings from Brothers & Sisters from the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows as well as Family & Friends. There will also be a full Odd Fellows funeral service presented by the members of the Harry Marsh Lodge.

For those of you who can not make the trip or can not attend in person, we have set up a live video feed of the service. Please join us via Zoom meeting at the link below. The video feed will start at about 12:45p with the service to start around 1 pm. The video will last till the service ends.

We hope that everyone can join us to celebrate the life of such a great man, a loving husband, and father, a true Odd Fellow, and a true Patriarch.

Miss. KaMya Montgomery is a first-year student at Winston – Salem State University. Riley Hill Lodge No. 7224 gave her a $500 donation to assist with her tuition. We were not aware of her need when Area II had its scholarship contest or we would have entered her. She is the niece of Brother James Parker who is a member of our lodge.

Paul’s Obituary

Mulberry: Paul G. van Heynegen, age 87, passed away August 5, 2022.

Mr. van Heynegen was born January 27, 1935, in Marigot, St. Martin to Jaque & Anna Marie (Butter) van Heynegen. He moved to Mulberry from Lutz 15 years ago. He was a maintenance mechanic, a member of the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows (Major General) and of the Catholic faith.

He is preceded in death by his son: Odis van Heynegen, brothers: Wilfred, Ralph & Louie, sisters: Armel, Rosita, Valentine, Juliette, Elaine & Amelie. 

He is survived by his wife: Doreen van Heynegen, sons: Paul van Heynegen, Leslie van Heynegen & Gilbert Joseph, daughters: Gloria Cornett, Anna van Heynegen, Paulina Joseph, Ann Joseph & Lourdes Joseph, stepsons: Gregory Blackman & Scott Blackman, brothers: Clement, Nathaniel & Harry, sister: Louise and many grands and great grands.

The family will receive friends Saturday: August 27, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at Seigler Funeral Home: Chapel, 1300 Hwy. 60 E., Mulberry, FL. 33860. Memorial services will follow at 1:00 P.M.
