Sis. Ermytrude T. Edgar, PMWGS
Grand Household of Ruth

Ermytrude T. Edgar affectionately known as Tude or Trudy was born on April 3, 1928 in Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia.  She was the first of six children of Ann Marie and Grey Modeste. She received her early education at the Ava Maria School and then went on to St. Joseph Covent.

Tude was a founding member of Jewel of Brooklyn, Household of Ruth No. 6934, and from the Grand Household of Ruth she held the prestigious position of Most Worthy Grand Superior, Grand United Order of Odd Fellows.

Trudy went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 where she is now with her beloved husband, son, Eustace and daughter Jean, who died as a child.  She leaves to mourn her surviving sons, Trevor and Norman (Norma); grandchildren Jason (Karla); Sean (Ayisha); Tajal (Paula); Ariel (Fernando the II); great-grandchildren; Porschia; Tiffany; Jade; Armani; Avel; Taryn; Malcolm; Amri; Austin; and Fernando the III.  She is also survived by one brother, Randolph and a host of nieces, nephews and godchildren too numerous to mention. Tude, rest in peace. You will be missed.
